Sirti, innovation hub in the field of network infrastructure development, has announced today the appointment of Laura Cioli as new CEO.
Laura Cioli has more than 25 years of experience as a top executive in leading service companies active in the telecommunications, media, energy, financial services and management consulting industries.
Among the positions held, Laura has been Chief Executive Officer in GEDI Gruppo Editoriale, Chief Executive Officer in RCS Mediagroup, Chief Executive Officer in CartaSi (now Nexi), Chief Operating Officer in Sky Italia, Senior Vice President in ENI Gas & Power, Executive Director in Vodafone Italia and Partner in Bain & Company.
She has also held the position of Non-Executive Director in various boards, including Mediobanca, Sofina, Autogrill, Brembo, Pirelli, Telecom Italia, Salini-Impregilo (now WeBuild) and World Duty Free Group.
Graduated with honors in Electronic Engineering from the University of Bologna, she holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Bocconi.
She takes over from Roberto Loiola, who as of today no longer holds the role of CEO. The company thanked Mr. Loiola for his contribution in recent years to the relaunch of the company, which is now ready for a new phase of development.
The Pillarstone platform, also as sole shareholder of Sirti, has fully supported the entry of a new manager of primary prestige which is the result of, inter alia, the wide trust of the market in respect of Sirti.
